Girl-on-girl is probably my favorite genre, but MILF comes in a close second. So when I heard Sarah Palin was visiting I canceled all my Sunday plans and headed down to the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame. Looked like Palin wanted to keep it low keyed, because there was no big entrance, which meant all I got was this photo
of some guy in a McCain mask.
Incidentally, at dinner last night we got into a friendly, heated discussion about McCain-Palin versus Obama (no one really cares about Biden). I repeated my assertion that diplomacy is so overrated. Let me clarify. Sure, diplomacy works in narrow, limited cases. But for big, fundamental issues, I just don't think history has shown that diplomacy does much.
Take the Cold War for example. There was diplomacy, and we signed some weapons treaties and what not. But diplomacy didn't destroy the evil empire. It was Reagan's hard line stance that gave hope and strength to the anti-Communist movement. Reagan was a "warmonger" and not a diplomat. It was only after the Luis Vuitton spokesman started reform that Reagan became diplomatic. Even then, he was aggressive and imposed conditions on the Soviets.
Obama, on the other hand, would sit down with Iran without preconditions in his first year as President. Diplomacy for diplomacy's sake is retarded. And so is Obama.
