I haven't been following golf for that long, but there's one thing I've quickly learned: Sergio Garcia is a douche bag. He complains about small locker rooms at the Ryder Cup, spits in the cup when he misses putts, gives fans the finger, and is all around just a very ungracious loser. Here is Garcia on Augusta National Golf Club after another poor performance at the Masters.
"I don't like it [Augusta National Golf Club]...I don't think it's fair...it's too tricky...you get mud balls in the middle of the fairways." When asked what he would like to see different Sergio replies ,"I don't care, they can do whatever they want. It's not my problem. I just come here and play then go home."
What a total tool. Wasn't too tricky when Phil shot a 30 on the front nine, or McIlroy shot 31 on the back, or Kim made 11 birdies. What will he say to the Chairman of AGNC if he ever gets a green jacket? 'Hey, that thing about me not liking you guys, you know I was just joking, right?' Maybe I should cut him some slack. He's probably just annoyed that he couldn't win all his adoring fans a free TaylorMade driver from Golfsmith. There's 42 cents I'll never get back.

.42 cents you'll never get back? You're the one that signed up for the promotion loser. At least Sergio was willing to be a part of giving the fans something. Tiger has won and earned so much in his career, he should be giving drivers away out of his pocket.
His comments were stupid and immature, but not as moronic as your .42 cents comment. Get a grip on life, it's a no brainer gamble... and if it is offered again, YOU will sign up again.

This just shows how much of a jerk Sergo is and will always be. He has no respect for the game or the people that have put him in the position to play golf and makes lots of money. As far as the give away, who cares. Taylormade is the one putting up all of the moeny for fams not Sergio. He was probably told he had to do the promotion so he did it. How about Tiger and Phil who have both established major foundations to give back to the community and kids. I do not see Serguo doing anything like that. I hope at the US Open the fans of NY boo the heck out of Sergio just so we can see how mad he will get. he is a total jerk and needs to grow up.

I played in a tournament against Sergio in 98, and he was an arrogant whiny ass back then too. It is shameful to watch.

It's amazing how inconsequential Garcia has become and his comments are just as unimportant....he's just another one of the pact chasing the ever changing top ten.

When is the PGA going to stop this train wreck of an idiot? First he spit in the cup and now this. How much of this do we have to endure? I would love to see him banned!!!!!!
After all this is a gentlemans game isn't it.

Sergio is a whiner. He is becoming the next Colin Montgomerie. Next up will be the fact that American fans are too tough on him. You have the PGA title behind your name Sergio you are suppose to be a professional golfer. Perhaps you would rather play on the easy short courses around the country so you can be at the top of your game. Suck it up you little P _ _ ck. You have sponsors and make millions on endorsements. I can't stand your attitude but some people think your talented.

what can you say about this dork. how can he be #3 in the world. he could not hit a 5 gallon with his putter.augusta national should ban him from this event. I have watched the masters for 30yrs and have never heard someone bash it like that. I pray he never wins a major. he should go back to spain and work as bull fighter and get a bull horn up his ASS by the way I hope that Kenny Perry and his family are doing ok after a tough loss. Kenny Perry is 100% class act and he will be back..

Sergio Garcia will not make the cut at the players. I hope he hits it the water at 17 both days.

Remember Choke Hoch's famous quote regarding playing in the British Open at the "home of golf" at Saint Andrews. Hoch referred to this course, considered hallowed ground by most golfers around the world, as "the worst piece of mess" he had ever seen.
We all know how his career has been.
I see the same future for Brat Boy Garcia.
