Reached a milestone today: added my 200th friend on Facebook. Two hundred is nice and round and even. I think from now on when I add a new friend I'm going to delete an existing one, to keep it at 200. So don't feel bad if I delete you, nothing personal, just need to cap it at 200.
Incidentally, I found out my 200th friend has a son. A few of my guy friends are fathers, but none of my female friends are mothers. When a guy becomes a father nothing really changes. Sure, he has more responsibilities, can't play golf every weekend, etc. But he's basically still the same. On the other hand, when a girl becomes a mother, she completely changes. She's now a woman.
That's the one thing women have over men. Men can spend their entire lives searching for meaning, asking those nagging questions with no good answers: Why am I here? What is my purpose? For women, these questions are answered when they become mothers. How incredible it must be to give birth. The thing I love about photography is that it allows me to create something that is totally and uniquely mine. Sure, I could download a better photo of the Eiffel Tower, but then it wouldn't be my Eiffel Tower. Now imagine this feeling times infinity.
